Administration Denounces 'Democrat Fabrication' as More Jeffrey Epstein Images Released
House Democrats have released a fresh batch of what they described as "troubling" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 issued later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is examining the actions and ties of Epstein.
The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking crimes.
Notable Figures in the Photos
Featured among the prominent personalities visible in the initial batch are celebrities featuring film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are obscured.
Administration Statement
The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the pictures for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false account."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official remarked, insisting that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for disclosure, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and demanding more inquiries into Epstein's liberal connections."
Panel Member Remarks
The images were disclosed devoid of explanation, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.
"Now is the occasion to end this White House concealment and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a release.
The disclosure of these materials coincides with the House panel proceeding with its investigation into the Epstein case.
